Nick Andrews

Nick prides himself on executing business plans which create value for the shareholders and management of clean technology and financial technology companies. He started his career in investment banking with Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank in New York and Toronto, and transitioned into the world of clean technology and renewable energy when he co-founded Cloudworks Energy Inc. almost 20 years ago. He currently represents the interests of CleanFin as an owner and director of Corvus Energy Inc. and Judi.ai. Nick holds a degree in economics from McGill University, an LL.B from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management.

John Johnson

John’s scientific background, combined with 15 years as a Canadian capital markets equity research analyst with Canada’s largest bank and 15 years in renewable energy project development in British Columbia, provide him with a unique perspective on cleantech investments and innovative financings. John was a co-founder of Cloudworks Energy and a founding investor in Corvus Energy of British Columbia. He currently holds a number of environmental investments including Woodlands Biofuels, and is a founding investor and Director of NextGen Mortgage Company of Toronto. John is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has an MBA from the Ivey Business School.

Sam Ketcham

Sam has spent the majority of his career either working in start-ups or alongside management teams as an active investor and advisor. He invests in emerging technologies in the clean-tech, bio-energy, fin-tech and energy storage sectors either through direct investment (seed, Series A) or alongside large venture capital funds in these sectors. He currently serves on a handful of private and public company boards including one of the largest forestry firms in North America. He also serves as a Trustee of various charitable organizations including The Seattle Art Museum and the International Council of the Museum of Modern Art. Sam holds a Bachelors degree in American History from Tufts University and studied corporate governance and business strategy at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
